Good to know before you book
How much do you charge?
Most jobs are quoted as a flat price so you know the cost before we start. We have a $120 minimum for on-site visits, which covers travel, materials pickup and the first portion of labor. Larger projects are quoted line by line in writing.
How quickly can you come out?
Estimates usually go out the same day we receive your photos. Scheduling typically runs a few days to a week out depending on the season — and we always tell you honestly rather than promising a date we can’t hit.
Are you insured?
Yes. Blue Oak Home Solutions carries general liability insurance up to $1M, and we’re happy to send a certificate of insurance before we start work. For jobs that legally require a licensed trade — plumbing, major electrical, gas or structural work — we’ll tell you straight and point you to someone we trust.
Do you handle small jobs?
Absolutely — small jobs are our specialty. In fact, the most efficient way to use us is to save up a list. A single visit that covers eight little tasks costs far less than eight separate visits.
Do I need to buy the materials?
Your choice. We’re happy to pick up materials and pass along the cost, or you can supply your own if you’ve already got something specific picked out. We’ll tell you exactly which we’re assuming in your estimate.
What if something isn’t right?
Tell us and we’ll come back and fix it. Our work carries a two-year workmanship guarantee — no arguing, no invoice.
