Most interior jobs are finished in two to four days, and you keep the use of your house throughout. We work room by room rather than tearing the whole place apart at once.

Walls & ceilings

Full rooms or a single accent wall. Nail holes filled, cracks taped, patches primed so they don’t flash through the topcoat.

Cabinet refinishing

Kitchen and bathroom cabinets degreased, sanded, primed and sprayed. Keeps your existing boxes and costs a fraction of replacement.

Trim, doors & baseboards

Crown molding, baseboards, casings and interior doors, cut in by hand. Caulked first so there’s a clean line where trim meets wall.

Ceilings & popcorn removal

Flat and textured ceilings, water-stain sealing, and popcorn removal with the ceiling re-textured and painted afterwards.

Exterior painting

Northeast Florida is hard on paint. Summer sun fades a south-facing wall in a few seasons, humidity feeds mildew on shaded sides, and closer to the coast the salt air gets into everything. Exterior work here is about preparation and the right product, not just colour.

Siding & stucco

Hardie board, vinyl, wood and stucco. Washed down, mildew treated, bare spots primed, then coated in an exterior-grade acrylic.

Trim, fascia & soffits

The first things to go in this climate. Rotted sections replaced before painting rather than coated over and forgotten.

Front doors & shutters

A weekend-sized job with the biggest effect on how the house looks from the street. Doors taken off, sprayed and rehung.

Garage doors

Cleaned, scuffed and recoated to match the trim. Usually the largest single surface on the front of the house.

Decks, railings & fences

Stripped, sanded and stained or sealed. We’ll tell you honestly whether a board needs replacing before it gets coated.

Pressure washing first

Included with every exterior repaint. Paint will not bond to the film of mildew and pollen that coats a Florida house.

Where the time actually goes

Anyone can roll paint onto a wall. What separates a job that still looks sharp in five years from one that peels in eighteen months happens before the lid comes off the tin.

Protect

Furniture moved to the middle and wrapped, floors covered, fixtures and baseboards masked. You’ll see the blue tape in our own before photos above.
Prepare

Scrape, sand, fill and caulk. Glossy and previously stained surfaces get scuffed so the new coat has something to bond to, then everything bare gets primed.
Paint

Two full coats as standard. Edges cut in by hand rather than relying on tape alone, which is what gives you a line that’s actually straight.
Put it back

Tape pulled while the paint is still curing so it doesn’t tear, furniture returned, floors vacuumed, and a walk-through with you before we load up.

The person who quotes your job is the person who paints it. That matters more in painting than almost any other trade, because the quality of a finish comes down to whether whoever is holding the brush cares about the edge they’re cutting.

We don’t take on more work than we can do ourselves, which means we’re sometimes a week or two out. We’d rather tell you that honestly than hand your house to someone we met that morning.

Written, itemised estimates. Surfaces, number of coats and paint product listed before you commit.
Your choice of paint. We’ll recommend a product and sheen for each surface, and we’re happy to use a brand you prefer.
Colour samples first. We’ll put test patches on your actual wall — paint reads completely differently under your own light.
Two-year workmanship guarantee. Peeling, flaking or a line that didn’t hold, we come back and fix it.

Before you book a painter

Do I need to supply the paint?

Your choice. We’ll recommend a product and sheen for each surface and pick it up for you at cost, or you can supply your own if you’ve already settled on something. Your estimate states clearly which we’ve assumed.

How long will my house be disrupted?

A single room is usually a day. A typical interior of three or four rooms runs two to four days, and we work room by room so you keep the rest of the house. Exterior repaints depend on size and weather — we won’t start a coat if rain is coming, because it will not cure properly.

Is cabinet refinishing really worth it over new cabinets?

If the boxes and doors are structurally sound, yes — it costs a fraction of replacement and takes days rather than weeks. If the boxes are water damaged or falling apart, refinishing is throwing good money after bad and we’ll tell you so.

Can you help me pick a colour?

We’ll narrow it down with you and put test patches on the actual wall. Paint looks completely different under your own lighting than it does on a chip in the store, and north-facing rooms in particular pull colours cooler than you expect.

What does a painting job cost?

It depends on square footage, how much preparation the surfaces need and how many coats it takes to cover — going from dark to light takes more. We quote a flat price in writing after seeing the space, and there’s a $120 minimum for on-site visits.
